APPLYING FROM WITHIN THAILAND
If you are already in Thailand, the process depends on your current visa status:

If you hold a tourist visa or arrive on a tourist visa, you can convert it to a Non-Immigrant O visa (90 days), followed by the 1-year Retirement Visa extension.

The total duration can be up to 15 months for first-time applicants (90 days Non-O visa + 1-year Retirement extension).

The Retirement Visa can be renewed annually, as long as the financial requirements and other conditions are maintained.

To secure a Retirement Visa in Thailand, please prepare and bring the following:
- Maintain a minimum balance of 800,000 Baht in your Thai bank account for at least 2 months.
- Provide a 2-month bank statement as proof of funds for annual stamp approval.
- Original passport
- Updated Thai bank book
- Bank certificate (valid for 7 days)
- Updated rental agreement, plus a copy of your Thai landlord’s ID card and house registration attached, or TM30 form
- Photo of yourself in front of your house, clearly showing the house number, bedroom, and living room (can be sent via chat.
- Google map location of your house (can be sent via chat)
Note: Both the bank statement and bank certificate are valid for only 7 days from issuance, so we recommend obtaining them closer to your appointment date.
To apply for a Retirement Visa in Thailand, you will need:

Your original passport with a valid visa.

An original bank book from a Thai bank account (we can assist you in opening a Thai bank account if needed).

A rental agreement or ownership documents of your current residential address in Thailand.

Bank statements from the last 2 months along with a bank certificate/confirmation letter showing your current bank balance in Thai Baht.

The Thai Retirement Visa can be renewed annually through Phuket Immigration.

Renewal fee is 15,000 Baht, provided you maintain 800,000 Baht in your Thai bank account throughout the year.

Full payment is required upfront with a signed agreement.

You must visit Phuket Immigration in person for a photo.

Visa renewal can be done up to 1 month before your visa expires.

The renewal process typically takes around 1 week.

Multiple entry permit costs 4,800 Baht; single re-entry costs 1,600 Baht.
Package Price: 35,000 Baht for the Non-Immigrant O visa (3 months) and Retirement Visa (12 months), provided you meet the financial requirements.

Processing Timeline: It takes 3-4 weeks to receive your initial 3-month stamp. You can apply for the 1-year extension 45 days before the Non-O visa expires, which takes 1-2 weeks to process.
